When clicking on "Join Zoom Meeting" you will be prompted to install Zoom Cloud Meetings.
Note - Their might come a point it will ask for a card, skip this. You do not need to input a credit card.
Once Zoom is installed you can click on any active meeting and it will automatically join you.
If asked to "ENTER YOUR ID" just hit # "the hashtag" to bypass.
